REQUIREMENTS FOR WORK PERMIT APPLICATION:
1. The requirements for the company to submit the application:
- The Company’s paid-in capital is at least 100.000 TL or
- The gross sales of the last year are worth 800,000TL or
- The Company’s last year’s export amount is at least 250,000 USD
- The Company who will submit the work permit application should employ at least 5 Turkish citizens for every foreigner to be employed.
- If the person whose work permit application is applied is the company partner, the foreign partner in question must have at least 20% of the capital share, not less than 40.000 TL. In addition, the 5 Turkish employees for every one foreigner employee rule does not cover the first 6 months of the period of permission for company partner.
- There is no requirement regarding the capital, gross sales or export amounts mentioned in Article 1 in requests for permission for foreigners to work in NGO’s and foundations.
- Requirements included in Article 1 and 2 are not needed in the work permit application for foreign state airlines representative in Turkey, and foreigners who will work in the education sector or in home services.
- It is obligatory that the monthly wage to be paid to the foreigner by the employer must be compatible with the foreigner’s duty and competence. For this reason, the minimum wage amount to be paid to the foreigner by taking the minimum wage amount in effect as of the date of application;

- 6.5 times the minimum wage for pilots, senior managers and engineers and architects requesting preliminary authorization
- 4 times the minimum wage for unit and branch managers,
- 3 times the minimum wage for teachers who will work in specialized and masterly jobs and for foreigners who will work as psychologists, physiotherapists, musicians and stage artists;
- Minimum wage for foreigners to be employed in home services
- It should be twice the minimum wage for foreigners who will work in acoustics and similar titles in tourism-animation organization companies and foreigners who will work in jobs such as masseur, masseuse and SPA therapist.
7. At least 4-star tourism establishments that are certified by Ministry of Culture and Tourism and certified massage parlors in their enterprises and certified holiday villages will be able to apply for foreign work permits such as masseurs, masseuses and SPA therapists.
