A certificate of conformity is issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the Land Registration Administration for foreign investors who purchase an immovable property worth a minimum of 400.000$ or equivalent amount in foreign currency or in Turkish Lira and who add an annotation on the title deed not to sell the property in question for three years.

Necessary documents for residence permit application are provided under Article 31 (j) of Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection. The application is made to The Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorate.

• The settlement is referred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management
• Necessary documents are then presented for the Citizenship Application.

• The application is made to the Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorate
• Citizenship file is issued and sent to the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs.

• A security investigation is carried out on whether there is a situation that would be a threat to the national security and public order.

•   In case the security investigation result is positive, the file is then submitted to the Ministry to be sent to the Presidency.

• The file is then submitted to the presidency office so that the president makes his decision.
• Turkish citizenship is granted upon the President’s decision, in case of approval Turkish Citizenship is then granted.
